Heating & Furnace Repair

Heat restored,before cold California nights.

Barraza Heating & Air repairs furnaces and heating systems across Sacramento and the surrounding county. Your heater gets diagnosed, you hear what failed in plain language, and you get the price before the work starts.

A furnace that will not start on the first cold morning is usually one failed part: an igniter, a flame sensor, a blower motor. We test, we show you, and we fix what is actually wrong. One customer wrote that other companies tried to oversell him on repairs where Barraza found a quick, painless fix.

Heating Repair

When the heatwon’t come on.

What should I check first when my furnace won’t turn on?

Check three things before calling: the thermostat is set to heat and above room temperature, the furnace breaker has not tripped, and the air filter is not clogged solid. If those are fine, the failure is inside the furnace. Call (916) 720-0020 and it gets diagnosed properly.

How much does furnace repair cost in Sacramento?

The price depends on which part failed: an igniter, a flame sensor and a blower motor are all very different repairs. The furnace is tested first, and you get the exact price before any work starts, so there is never an open-ended bill.

Why is my heater blowing cold air?

A heater blowing cold air is usually one of three things: the igniter or flame sensor is failing so the burners never light, the filter is so clogged the furnace overheats and shuts its burners off, or leaky ducts are dumping the heat into the attic before it reaches you. Each has a specific fix, and testing tells us which one you have.

Should I repair my furnace or replace it?

Repair it when the failure is one part on an otherwise sound furnace; replace it when repairs are stacking up on an old unit. You get the honest call either way. One customer wrote that companies before us tried to oversell repairs where Barraza found a quick, painless fix.
